How it Works
PVwatch collects data automatically from your inverter every 15 minutes and transmits it via the internet to our server. The monitor uploads about 25 KB data per hour for each inverter (daytime bandwidth). Your monitoring system will check our server daily and download any necessary updates.

Network Requirements: Broadband cable or DSL internet connection active 24/7 with an available Ethernet port. This may require you to add a router to your home network. No special firewall settings are necessary.
The powerline networking bridge must be plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a power strip or extension cord. Installation is simple. A powerline communications bridge uses existing wiring. All you have to do is log onto the web and watch your system perform.
